Sigri is a beautiful village in Nainital district of Uttrakhand state in India, situated about 300 kms from New Delhi and about 25 kms from Nainital. Nearest Airport is New Delhi and nearest railway station is Kathgodam. Sigri provide idle location for nature lovers and people who want to spend good time away from crowd.
Kumaun Vikas Nigam Limited, which is a sub-ordinary of Uttrakhand Government, provide great Camping facility at Sigri. Sigri Camp are the best, and cheapest I have been till now. We visited there for a single day and ended up in spending up whole weekend. The camp-management and staff-everything is just awesome, and it feels good to see Government Ventures running so nicely and successfully. Sigri camps have been successful only because of the dedications of staff and nice people of management. Mr. Sunil Kumar, Supervisor and head cook for the Sigri Camps are a living legend in his own ways. Kamp Land also provides camping facilities in Sigri, but that is almost three times higher in term of money with almost same facilities.
