Climax Lawrence, former Indian captain and the trusted defensive mid-fielder of Indian National football team has retired from football. The player has announced his retirement from international football after being dropped from the AFC Challenge Cup probable 30. The player had already decided to announce his retirement after the AFC Challenge Cup, but was disheartened when the Indian football coach Savio Medeira dropped him from the team.
